just to play online,,,remove the xbox live because Sony They Don't Care so They don't requires ps Membership To Paly online . they Thought That Coustmer purchased Our console and game from their store so they saying all is your,, we purchased your console
and game from store and also we pay you for extra every month,,and 80% Won't Afford Every Month,,So Remove That To Give benifit To Every One of us ,,, Thank You ,, If You Think This is Right,, Than I belive that in Furture You Guys Will Remove the Xbox One

But, on PC, the Xbox live gold is not needed to play online. The FAQ says the Live Gold is required only in Xbox One and 360.

Windows 10 games dont require xbox live gold to play. Since Halo Wars 2 will be a play anywhere game, no gold required for windows 10, but if you decide to play on xbox one, you will need xbox live gold.
