"Hi User" Glitch

So I've had my Xbox One for the past year or so since I posted this form. I've just recently downloaded the new update that completely changed the format of the Xbox system, and I've never had this issue before. The message that says "Hi Peyton!" (that's
my name) at the bottom of my screen when you first log on is still there even after hours of playing my games. I cannot see the bottom part of my screen that normally is covered by the message, and I am getting very frustrated. It's been occurring the past
three times that I've played, all three times have been over an hour of playing. Any tips or help? I already tried logging out of my account and logging back in but even then it still shows on my screen.

Have you tried
power cycling your console yet? If not, try that first. That can often clear up a whole bunch of quirky things the Xbox One can sometimes run into. Have you tried using a different Xbox Live account to see if the issue persists on that account as well?

If the power cycle doesn't work, I'd try a
factory reset next. You can keep your games and apps so you won't have to reinstall everything.
