You can create a Service Order for your Xbox by following the steps below;

1. Sign in to account.microsoft.com/devices.

2. Locate the device that needs service > click on Show details > select Start order.

Once you submit your Service Order, you'll receive a shipping label together with the instruction email on how you're going to send your device. You should receive it within 24-48 hours so please keep an eye on your email inbox, junk, or spam filters.

the hdmi port in my xbox is broken during a transport home to my parents. i still have warranty on my xbox will the repair be free then? and who to contact, I have researched for a few days but no luck

unless you have Microsoft Complete (which covers accidental/physical damage) then the repair for something like this wouldn't be free as far as i am aware.

The standard warranty doesn't cover things like accidental/physical damage.

The problem may be caused by a broken HDMI cable, or the TV's HDMI port. First try connecting the cable to a different HDMI port on the TV. If it does not work, try replacing the console cable.

Not a problem, hopefully this is something I can help you with.

My first suggestion, does the HDMI cord work with anything else? Are you able to test it out on a bluray player, or DVD or something of the nature? This will help us in isolating where the problem is stemming from

Also, it may be worth power cycling your Xbox, to see if that kicks it into gear. To do this, make sure the xbox is firstly on, then hold the power button down for 10seconds until it turns off. Then turn it on again, and see if that works. Slim chance this
will fix the issue, however its always worth trying
