    If you purchase a csv (currency stored value) ppc, which is added to your Microsoft account, you can then purchase games, add-ons, etc. without adding a credit card to your account. However, you CAN NOT purchase an xbox live subscription with a csv ppc.
    You MUST purchase an Xbox live ppc to add a 1-month, 3-month, or 12-month subscription.

    Hi I have just tried to redeem a 12 month xbox live code. The code was accepted and stated that it was a 12 month subscription but nothing shows up on my xbox live account? Any ideas?

    When you added the 12 month card to your account was their another subscription running at the same time? If so then the reminder is for that subscription. The other 12 month you added will kick in when that one runs out. If in
    doubt go to Billing.Microsoft.Com and verify your purchases.

    You can stack up to 36 months worth of xbox live gold subscriptions so you will not lose anything by adding your 12 month sub to your existing sub.

    Hi there,

    Xbox Game Pass CANNOT be stacked like the Xbox Live Gold subscription can with pre-paid codes. Each account can only have one 12 month Game Pass subscription at a time.

    Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. However, pre-paid cards do not have expiration dates so you are able to apply the second 12 month code after the first 12 month cycle is over.
