    Welcome aboard!

    I have a buddy that just started playing games again for the first time since the late 90s. It took him about 2 weeks of nightly playing to get used to the 360 controller.

    If Gears is giving you a bit too much trouble right now, you may want try a "one-stick" game like Castle Crashers, RayMan Legends, Walking Dead, etc. Playing with two analog controller sticks can definitely take some getting used to.

    Welcome to the forums! And don't worry, Gears is a tough one to jump on a controller with. It takes forever for me to get used to aiming on those games.

    But if I ever had to go with a keyboard and mouse, forget it. I'd be dead before I started lol
