hi new to forum and xbox

just bought an xbox 360 been trying to play gears of war but i cant aim to save me life lol

give me a mouse them grunts would not stand a chance lol also yes i know my user name is spelt wrong yay for dyslexia

lol got to be able to play with controller first i think iv died 23 times in one mission on gears on easy mode

 

Trust me I know the feeling. I built my first gaming pc this year. Mouse and keyboard feels foreign to me.

 

lol yeah i kill anything with me mouse i aim like a drunk blind moron with this controller

 

Cyber: There are adaptors that let you use a mouse and keyboard with the Xbox 360. They aren't as good as native support of course but perhaps worth a try.

COD: What games are you playing? A lot of multiplatform releases support the Xbox 360 controller for PC. Check the specs of the games you are playing to see if that is the case.

Welcome to the forums! And don't worry, Gears is a tough one to jump on a controller with. It takes forever for me to get used to aiming on those games.

But if I ever had to go with a keyboard and mouse, forget it. I'd be dead before I started lol

The first Gears of War is still one of my favorite Xbox 360 games. It can definitely be a tough game to master, especially if you don't have much experience with a controller, but keep practicing and you'll be curb stomping
Locust in no time.

I have a buddy that just started playing games again for the first time since the late 90s. It took him about 2 weeks of nightly playing to get used to the 360 controller.

If Gears is giving you a bit too much trouble right now, you may want try a "one-stick" game like Castle Crashers, RayMan Legends, Walking Dead, etc. Playing with two analog controller sticks can definitely take some getting used to.
