Hi my xbox is connected to the Internet but I have had no network for 2 days now . I need help

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please restart your console. Turn off your Xbox by holding the power button for 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

Unplug the power cable, wait for about 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.

Turn your console back on and try connecting to WiFi again.

And then forget and reconnect to the network. To do this please go to Settings > Network > Network settings > Advanced settings > Forget wireless network.

Select your WiFi network and choose Forget.

Reconnect to your WiFi network by selecting it from the list and entering the password.

Next is set a manual DNS, please go to settings> network> network settings> Advanced settings>DNS Settings> Manual.

PRIMARY DNS: 8.8.8.8

SECONDARY DNS: 8.8.4.4

Kindly restart your Xbox and also your router after performing these steps.

There should be no other devices causing interference with your WiFi signal. Kindly move your Xbox closer to the router or using a different WiFi channel.

Please check router settings. Your router should not limit the number of connected devices. Check your router's settings to see if there are any restrictions.

If the issue persist after performing the steps, kindly use a wired Ethernet connection for a more stable and lower latency connection.

Hi i recently updated my wifi but now my xbox will not conbect to yhe internet server. Ive tried restarting the Wi-fi and xbox but that didnt work ive also tried to do a DNS test and a connection test its fine. It keeps saying theres a problem with
the xbox system im confused

I am having trouble connecting as well, but my situation is a bit different. My cable Internet connection had been dropping 8 - 10 times a day. So we swapped out the cable modem, no more dropping, but now my 360 won't connect to the internet.

Specs:

Cisco / Linksys WRT120 Wireless N router

Cisco SPC 3010 Cable modem

Charter Internet - 15Meg package

The only thing changed was the cable modem.

Things tried: Everything on the Xbox 360 support help, reset router to factory defaults and reconfigured, Manual and automatic setting for both IP and DNS settings.

The 360 will connect to the network and all computers on the network, it will run the Xbox live test, connect to the network then fail when attempting to connect to the Internet.

I even had Charter come test the modem. They found spikes in the signal to the modem, and they fixed that, but no luck changing my no connect issue.
