the message, Can’t make this your home Xbox. You may be eligible to receive an exception. If the exception is not available, all you can do is wait for your limit to reset on its
own. The Home setting is only recommended to be used for your own console.

hi have you sat the other xbox you are gamesharing with as your home xbox? we have gamesharing as well and we have been able to download if its sat as main xbox we are sharing with so my answer to your question is yes but there may possibly need to be
any extra download as well if there is extras with the game

I might not have been clear, there are 2 Xbox's on my network, my sons and mine, we gameshare, so when I try to stream to the Xbox App, it links to his xbox not mine (because the gamesharing "home xbox" setting). I am trying to link the xbox I use, and
trying to find it using the IP is not working.

Hi. Appears that gamesharing is done within a console of the same area. So if you bought those games and it was under your friends' account, then s/he has access to downloading it anytime. However, if you download your profile while visiting him/her and
play it, then gamesharing is possible. If you are however not in the same place, then it's not. Remember, if you want to own those games, they have to be done under your profile and you would have to pay for them to keep it forever. Gamesharing is only just
all in one console, locally.
