Hi, I paid money to change my gamertag but on my emblem it still has my old gamertag on it...

I have an xbox series s and I changed my gamertag to a new one and paid for it, I play Destiny 2 and I can still see the old gamertag on my emblem...My new one isn't showing up

this is for destiny which uses the bungie naming system they setup a while ago, he would need to change name there but it can only be done once.

Hello, I don't know how long ago you changed your Gamertag, but if you made the change it appears as complete in your purchase history, the system may take some time to update it in the databases of the developers.

destiny uses your bungie name, this is set as default to your platforms name, you need to sign into bungie and change it there, BE WARNED, YOU GET ONE CHANGE ONLY AND THATS IT.

Im having the same problems. I changed my gamertag twice. And its still showing my old gamertag. I did the first free one then paid for a new one but the money went through and the gamertag didnt *obvious Microsoft move* but we just got to suffer and wait
I guess.

I just changed my gamertag and the EA account says I still have it linked to my old gamertag. I haven't changed my Microsoft account at all only my gamertag. I can't get it back since to change your gamertag it has to be under 12 characters and my old gamertag is 14 characters.
