    Hi I have a PC and I am trying to download flight simulator through the xbox app.


    every time I try to download it it tells me I will need 156gb of space and then downloads and 2.1gb file and nothing else. Then when I try to open it nothing happens. I have double checked for updates I have changed my time zone like some internet solutions suggested but nothing is working.

    I discovered we need the Xbox app installed for the download and install of Microsoft flight simulator. This is a new PC and didn't have anything installed yet.

    I am not convinced this is just Forza. I have experienced exactly the same symptoms when using the PC XBOX gaming for TheHunter and Microsoft Flight Simulator. I experienced this most on Flight Sim, after the product updates. I think it is the app and not the games.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    It is compatible with Xbox One but if you're playing Microsoft Flight Simulator through cloud gaming it will not work because according to Xbox Support:

    "Flight sticks and other non-standard controllers are not yet supported on Xbox Cloud Gaming. Microsoft Flight Simulator can be played on an Xbox One console via cloud gaming using an Xbox Wireless Controller or Xbox-licensed gamepad."

    Hi!

    Did you double check if maybe the Microsoft Flight simulator icon/app appears via Windows search?
    (Press windows key and start typing " Microsoft Flight Simulator", if yes, press right-click on in, and select delete

    Restart your PC and try again.

    Did you also check if the files for flight simulator was deleted from WindowsApps / XboxGames folder?
