hi i got an issue with my home xbox

me and my friend share games so we decided to share accounts , he entered my account went to settings, home xbox and then activated it on his console and everything is fine , but on my side, i did the same thing but it does not save the changes. so everytime
i want to play a game i enter his account and do the whole thing again.

can anyone help me?

I'm not sure what happened here.

My bud got his Xbone last night with Sunset. He downloaded it to his account first. Then he put my log in info on his xbox afterwards and turned it into his home xbox to access my library. When I got home I had Sunset on my xbox already downloaded.

I thought I had to put his info on my xbox as well to access his games. Also it downloaded automatically.

Is this normal or what did I miss here?

 

Quick question regarding game sharing

On the topic of game sharing help me understand this. My buddy got his white xbox today and downloaded SSOD. While I was at work I txt him my info so he could access my library by making his xbox my home xbox. It worked with no problem. When I came home I woke up my xbox (I leave it in sleep not off) my kinect signed me in and I had SSOD on my xbox as well. I hadn't put his info into my xbox yet.

I thought I had to make my xbox his home xbox before I could access his games as well.

 

It isn't called family sharing for nothing..

It isn't meant to use as friends.

 

That is not how the Home Xbox feature is supposed to be used...
