I cant go in and change my child settings from child to adult in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; It's so annoying because i can't change setting for the account x Velocitism x to make the account to a costum account when i'm his parent....     It's so annoying because i can't change setting for the account x Velocitism x to make the account to a costum account when i'm his parent.

    multiplayer restrictions/

    There is no adult account for my child account so I cant change my child account setting. I want to purchase something but cant since i cant find my adult account. When i press on family, it only comes up with my child account.

    I need help setting up family settings. It always says to add an adult to the family but not a child. How do I change my account from an adult to a child?

    If he's legally an adult in your country (18 or older in the US, for example), you can promote him to adult status. If not, you won't be able to make his account an adult one. You should be able to change some of the safety settings, however, to allow more
    freedom, provided your account has been at the parental account.

    Demote Adult account to Child

    Hi Nicole,

    The only way is to create a new account as a child account. The birthday on Xbox.com is the one that cant be changed once it is set. So the adult account will stay an adult account. If you make a child account and the games are on his adult account. Set
    the adult account as home, put a passkey on it so he cant log on it. Then the child account can use the gold and the games.

    There are three accounts in total, two adult, one child. The info I gave previously was from my adult account.

    I'm just checking his child and our adult statuses.

    My account is Adult and his is Custom (Child setting interfered with his gaming).
