But I am online and don't understand the problem.

If he logs in on your Xbox One, all other players can also use Xbox Live Gold features.

Or if he set your Xbox One to HOME console. Then he does not be logged in. All players have access to his games and gold services.

BUT if he goes to other Xbox One console and set it HOME console. Then you do not have access anymore to gold services.

The problem is... he actually used the gift option. He bought the xbox live gold as gift and gave it to me. Now he logged-in with my profile and it seems like i have gold in NA. But still, when i get back into my profile I can't really do much as it says
I need to buy it.

Hi,

Navigate to account.microsoft.com/services and see if there's one called "Xbox Live Gold" and see when it expires, you may of bought (or left auto-renew on) a subscription.

This is a common problem people have and it mainly resolves around them leaving auto-renew on, if the problem is not because of that, then I recommend ringing up or contacting Xbox Live Support.

Hey RossFar, my friend had the same problem for a few months. His problem was that he bought xbox live gold without any xbox credit or a credit card without realizing and so he was disabled from Gold. His solution was to pay back the money that was due,
so maybe the same problem happened with you. Hoped this helped
