Hello, i occured error fbcc49b1-3019-4062-b04a-e8858df575e0 and Microsoft said that they have recorded the error and try to fix the error, but i need to get this code working or if it will not work then the store where i got this code will get a fine!!!

i bought a 3m xbox live gold code,and when i redeem it on pc it recognizes it,but it says something went wrong,and when i redeem it on xbox it says an error code.What should i do?

 

Problem With Redeeming Code

Hi,

I have 2 gold xbox accounts which i have used with my xbox and i am trying to redeem xbox live codes i bought from a local store but every time it ends with a error stating "something went wrong with redeeming the code". I have tried on both accounts and
i have tried to use another card also same problem occured on xbox as well as my pc. Please help me to solve this issue. Thank you.

Please make sure that your billing adress is updated over here

Sign in to your Microsoft account

After that please log into this site and look if there is a valid payment Option (CreditCard, Paypal) added to your account:

Sign in to your Microsoft account

If not please add one and try to redeem your Code again using this link:

https://live.xbox.com/RedeemToken?token=

Add your Code to the end of the link right behind the = sign. Example:

https://live.xbox.com/RedeemToken?token=ABCDE-ABCDE-ABCDE-ABCDE-ABCDE

Report back if anything has changed your Situation.

I just want to add to xD 2Bad4You's excellent step-by-step. While at account.microsoft.com , go to the Services and Subscriptions tab and look for two things:

1.) Do you currently have an Xbox Live Gold Subscription? If so, you cannot redeem a 12 month code if the previous 12 month code as not expired.

2.) Do you have any outstanding charges that need to be paid? If this is the case, you need to pay for those before Xbox Live Gold will be available for activating.

If you do all of these things (including xD 2Bad4You's advice) and still have a problem, please contact Xbox customer support so they can help you sort this out and find the issue. Good Luck!
