    I am in need of help. I originally started minecraft on my Xbox 360 a few years ago that is when I first made my Minecraft/Microsoft account and it is still under my mother's email because she made it for me when I was a kid and then I moved to a ps4 I temporarily got the account back and it logged me out again and ever since I could not log back in. Im now on a ps5 can someone please help me to either unlink my account or to try get it back I still somewhat remember the user but I need assistance please

    I am very sorry about what happened to your account and I completely understand your frustration. Unfortunately, Microsoft support and Customer Service are simply indicating that the only procedure or way for a user to recover an account is to follow the methods indicated in the link below.

    Here’s what you need to do:

    Step 1: Use Microsoft’s account recovery form

    Go to:

    https://account.live.com/acsr

    Enter the original email address or phone number associated with your account (even if it’s changed)

    Provide an alternate email address where Microsoft can contact you

    Answer as many questions as you can — use accurate information like:

    Old passwords you’ve used

    Services you’ve used (Xbox, Outlook, Skype)

    Serial number for your Xbox console (if you know it)

    Billing details (if you’ve purchased anything in the past)

    Tip: Try submitting the form from a device or location you’ve used before — this helps Microsoft verify that it’s really you.

    Step 2: Watch your alternate email for updates

    Once you submit the form, Microsoft will review your request and usually respond within 24 hours.

    If your request is approved, you will receive instructions on how to reset your password and recover your account. If your request is denied, you can try again — just double-check your answers and include as many details as possible.

    Step 3: Add extra protection (after recovery)

    If you recover your account, make sure to:

    Add 2-step verification

    Set up a recovery email and phone number

    Enable sign-in alerts at:
