hey moderators and those in "the know"...

....is XBL/EA/DICE going to actually allow other people to rent their own server aswell or just the people who've already rented them?

I get to the screen where I choose my region, and there are 5 (WEST US, EAST US, EUROPE, ASIA, AUSTRALIA) and they're all ''grayed" out so I can't select ANY of them....way to go guys, way to go...yet another thing that doesn't work right on this console....called
the savvy, motivated people at 18004MYXBOX and none of the people I spoke to know much about BF4, let alone rental servers .....emailed EA, and might hear back from them in a week or two.....yay.....anyway, figured some of the know-it-alls might have an inkling
of whats happening...since tech support doesn't know anything about XB1 games and EA can't afford phones

Moderators do not monitor multiplayer games. Only XBLPET does.

You could try lodging a complaint with your local Better Business Bureau. That's your only recourse.

 

Here's the official line:

"UPDATE 5/2: Players who rented servers on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 should now once again have full access to in-game administration tools to manage their server. Unfortunately, due to high demand, we are still experiencing issues where some 64 player
rented servers can fail to start.

While we investigate, we recommend that server administrators who are experiencing this issue set their servers to 50 players or less. We would like to thank those early adopters of the Rent-a-Server Program for Battlefield 4 for their patience during the
last few days as we worked on solving the ongoing issues.

We plan to add additional days to all Xbox One and PlayStation 4 rented servers free of charge. These free days will be added as soon as possible.

For those players looking to rent their own server, unfortunately all servers available at launch were quickly snapped up, but we will be adding more servers for rent as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

No worries man, yea it's a disgrace the way EA/DICE keep releasing broken stuff on X1 and either don't mention it or hide the info in some obscure place.

This weekend I found a cool pistols only server. The admin was present the entire time and kicked any who broke the rules. Also, the admin didn't abuse admin powers. I killed the admin several times and never got booted for it. I mixed it up and used all
the pistols. I must have picked up an extra 100 pistol kills this weekend since I played a few matches in that server. Lots of fun was had.
