Hey, Microsoft.

I want to change my password, I go to my account to change my password, and now I can't change my password because I need to verify a security code. The security code is being asked to be sent to an ancient email, which I've been locked out of also due to
security threats or some arbitrary reason.

I don't doubt that there are many attempts of scams and hacks out there, but for god sakes, my bank account has been fine for the past 10 years with a username and password, why do I need to go through a series of security checks before I can do anything
on my account?

Can you please try using the link below then select the option to update your security info and see if will allow you to add another security option such as a mobile/cell number or delete and enter a new security e-mail address.

If you are not able to complete this yourself using the link above can you try using the
Contact us option and when prompted select either the option to Chat with Xbox support or Request a phone call from support and as long as you can answer the security question they should hopefully
be able to help with this.
