Hey Microsoft, way to go!!!!!!

Again I'm disappointed with the *** service on my xbox one. I pay to download the Elder Scrolls online, arrange my schedule at work to take 2 off to run through some of the game.....and guess what.... It hasn't let me sign on yet. You gotta be kidding me,
like you guys weren't aware of how many people were going to be buying the game. It's a disgrace. You guys turned the best gaming console out there into a F'n joke. I buy COD at xmas.... nothing but problems... I buy Elder... Nothing but problems. HOW CAN
I NOT PLAY A GAME I PAID FOR? Whats your return policy on downloads?????? Cause what I paid for and downloaded DOESN"T EVEN WORK. I've been on here for over 10 years, you guys should be ashamed at the crap service you provide.

have you tried a full power cycle and remove power cable from the wall socket for 30 seconds? is your xbox set to instant on and auto update for console and games and apps, as things may need updating. if that doesn't work try a factory reset (selecting
the option to keep games)

My mom bought me and my son an X-Box one for Christmas in 2015. We thought it was the best gift ever. Flashforward to the present day a year and a half later. I now have a $400 door stop. Thanks Microsoft. Games are stuck on the loading screen contoller
won't respond at all. Way to go Microsoft!!!!! Now you are trying to convince people to plunk down $500 for the One X? Fix the problems with all your other consoles first then start to come out with other products. Should've went with a Playstation 4!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Dude are you new to games like this. This is typical of MMORPG launches. It is because the servers are overloaded. You are just going to have to wait it out. Zenimax will fix it. That is really who you should express this to not MS.

 

Zenimax is the one to blame, not Microsoft as it is not their servers running this, its Zenimax's and Bethesda "megaserver" issue

 

Microsoft has nothing to do with Zenimax servers

 

they are all like this. either deal with it or next time wait a little while before you purchase!

 

While I know this is always an issue with mmorpgs, Ive been shocked by the fact ive had no login or lag issues at all. Only issue I have is that there isnt an asian server.(in hk)

Either way, Ill echo what everyone else is saying, its not ms and its to be expected. Wait a few days or play during off peak times.

 

My only issue was not being able to sign on when the servers went live. Ended up sleeping til 6am and hopped on and it was smooth from there

 

Mr Durva my issue was the same, I purchased the digital version and couldnt do anything till yesterday morning which was fine with me, I played all day long with nothing major happening that I couldnt continue to play...

 

...to be fair to the OP, "it's always like this" may very well be a reason, but it's no excuse....just because "it's always like this" doesn't mean it has to be ......it's not like a trip into the great unknown here, the game's been around for more than
a year, the platform changed is all and not even that much

 

personally this is stupid if it xbox or the other company u shouldn't release it if your going to not be able to support the player that buy it. at this point voting one of the worse games of the year so far.

 

This game sucks. Like he said I can play about 15 or 20 min before getting kicked off then it takes another 15 to log back in. Waste of money. They should have thought there would be overload on servers and prepared for it. I will be letting my friends know
not to waste there money. For an online game which I play many this is the worst crashing one. The game may acually be worth if you could log in. Quit being cheapskates and put more money into fixing this! "The elder blows"

 

fullhornet this is the worst release in decades for a mmo , Delusional this game will not be good when servers are fixed and second this is the worst launch i have seen for a big mmo or any game in the past 2 decades its bloody mess .nothing is resolved
on the x1 its been nearly 2 hours of trying to sign in then you do and when your making your character it kicks you and it starts all over and this has happened 3 times WTF having to start making a character 3 times over is a joke and i am returning my copy
to EB games, so then i pass the the first cave part and it disconnects it takes 20 mins to get back in and my character is gone need to create again. DONT BUY THIS GAME its a broken mess even by day 1 MMO standards it is horrible with lag , stuttering , data
loss and so much more and thats if you can even get in to a game you spent $60-$120 on . thanks to EB my copy is going back tomorrow for a full refund . yup its disgustin spending cash on this and now i am out the money for the 3000 coins i bought when i bought
the game but at least i did not use it so i have the code to trade to a friend thats crazy enough to waste time on this horrible game

 

godslayer apparently you forgot about the initial release of Final Fantasy XIV. That was 10 times worse than this. I played in the PC beta and PC launch for this game and compared to the console release yes there have been issues but nowhere near as bad
as when the PC version originally released. If you buy a game like this and only give it 2 to 3 days to iron kinks out then you should just give up MMORPGs all together as there is no such thing as perfectly smooth launch I don't care what the game is. Some
are worse than others but people complaining about issues with it knew what happened with the PC version and bought it anyway. I have had some issues but nothing game breaking. However, if you buy a game like this and expect there will not be some issues
with lag/server overload on launch week then you are kidding yourself.
