i had gears of war 2 on 360 disc version and when I go onto ready to install games with it's not there

I'm having a problem with backwards compatibility. My xbox live account disconnects from xbox live when I attempt to log in on the 360 menu on backwards compatibility for Xbox one.

Hey mate,

If you had the disc version, then you have to use the disc to play the game

Im interested to know does the xbox one download a 360 game onto the hdd before it will play it or does it run it straight from the disc?

Yeah, it downloads the game, and just uses the disc to verify that you own it So either way, its going to download, just one requires the disc to confirm you own it

Really sorry to hear your console is having trouble with Backward Compatible titles. If it's also having trouble reading unfortunately it may need to be sent out for repair. Since this began have you tried a full power cycle on your Xbox One by holding down
the power button for 8-10 seconds and starting it back up?
