hey, I'd like to know my original xbox one serial number

If you still have your old Xbox One registered
here to your Microsoft account, you can find your serial number there.

If not, you're unfortunately out of luck.

I'd recommend getting the serial number off the original packaging, there will be a serial number on the box.

You can also attempt to go to the shop you brought the xbox from with the receipt, and get them to pull the serial number off their system for you.

Then take this information to the Police station as proof of theft.

Just thought I'd resurrect this thread to say that my controller arrived this morning. Haven't had the chance to test it out so don't know if it works ok, but I think it's a new controller rather than my original one repaired. I can't seem to find what
the serial number of my original one was to check. Either way, I got a day one edition back.

Well, unless the other person files a police report the Pawn Shops hands are tied,as they have no way of knowing it is stolen.

He needs to file a police report first and foremost. Once he has a case number, then the Pawn Shop can refund/replace the console for you. Then they can work with the police to catch the person, and later on return the xbox to the original owner.

It sounds like you and the original owner is most likely fairly close to each other, if you are in the same county, then the police process will go a lot faster.

The original owner will need the serial number, but DO NOT give him the one from the console. He can get his serial number from the Xbox support website, or even possibly call support to get it as well. You can confirm the serial number with him, but i wouldnt
give it to him, let him give you the seril number and see if they match up.
