Day/Night Cycle

Ability to choose which perspective you are playing, how Skyrim does. Dont force FP on people.

Dont force MP if it doesnt fit well with the game ditch it. I personally would rather you take the time, energy and resources and focus on the single player campaign and adding more to that then a COD clone MP experience.

This may be a terrible idea:

What if you had two perspectives in one story-line? As in having two characters playing the same story.

The actions of one character will affect the other and both will change the scenarios for both characters.

For example:

One character needs to stop an attack as their allies are retreating from something. There are two options: Just kill the attackers, or go after the commander. Going after the commander will be the more difficult choice in this scenario.

Then the other character follows up after that scenario:

If the attackers are all killed, the second character will have a harder time pushing forward due to having less forces. If the commander is killed, the second character will rally the forces him/herself and push onward (easier).

...................

This'll be like a trade-off of difficulty for the player. Choose an easy scenario, you're put up with a more difficult one later and vice versa.

This might be an awful idea, I don't know. I just think it'd be interesting.

 

Why don't Serty games have a Website?

You have a Twitter account but that's not really a website is it?

There are bazillions of Shooters out there.

Make it fun.

Also the Moderators will give you special icons to confirm that you are a game developer.

If you get one it helps people take your claims to be a game developer a lot more seriously, especially for a game development company with no website.

 

Or no ideas of their own...

 

Make it really a survival game instead of just tacking that on to draw in customers. If I can run around without a worry of dying from starvation you're already failing.

@Azrael008uk We're quite new to the scene of Xbox Development. We weren't that big before so our website is still in development but making progress. Also, indeed, Game Dev's have a special icon. As I said before, we're still new to Xbox Dev, so I guess
we'll get that later on.

 

Yeah, fishing for ideas on our forum makes me wonder. But, okay...

 

@gameshoes3003, that was a great idea you posted, I'd like to see that concept in a game...

 

When I see horror / FPS I immediately sit on the fence. The genre is a tough one to crack just right so a lot of consideration must go into the making. If it was my choice, I would make it more psychological horror than monsters-everywhere horror. Something
with plenty of puzzles and some very clever AI.

@Ablaze..congrat's to your work in progress and wish your new and upcoming team the best...the best advice i would like to offer for the topic and what i would like to see you guys do is keep it as far away from a CoD clone as you can. I don't hate CoD but
like millions of other gamers out there it would be nice for something fresh and not a been there and done that feel...the main FPS games i play now like Borderlands,Bulletstorm,Bioshock etc. are all amazing to me because they add diversity and not the same
thing over and over.

Oh and the occasional button sequence here and there wouldn't go a miss. They seem to be dying out in games at the moment and they are such an awesome feature when pulled off correctly in the right situation.
