Hexic HD

With the current list of BC X360 titles in the preview program, some people have been having issues downloading some of their games. For me, I had trouble downloading Hexic HD (because it wouldn't show up in the "ready to install" section). Thankfully, the
early access forums gave me a solution - simply visit the xbox.com store and download it from there 1st to get it to show up. When I went to do this, I realized that the game is free (since it was available on the X360 console upon that console's release -
which BTW, means this was the VERY 1st X360 game EVER).

The reason I've created this thread is to inform you of this fact. It means that you can automatically get a free BC game to try if you're in the preview program (or later if you aren't), even if you haven't already owned it in the past. The game itself
is a lot of fun if you like puzzle games - it's easy to play, but hard to win.

Try it out!

So, to reiterate:

1. Visit xbox.com

2. Search for "Hexic HD"

3. Go to its game page and select download

4. Go to your Xbox One console

5. Go to "My Games and Apps"

6. Scroll to the far right to "Ready to Install"

7. Install "Hexic HD"

8. Enjoy!

Hexic HD

Hello. My xBox 360 failed to recognize the hard drive several days ago, so I had to format the hard drive. That's not a big deal, but I've lost Hexic HD (it was preinstalled on my console). I was trying to download it from the marketplace, however I could
not: for some reason the offer is unavailable in my region (Russia). Is it possible to get Hexic HD back on my console?

When I had my 360 I really liked playing Hexic. Is it possible to get it for the xbox one via the backward compatibility bit. I used the search option in the store on the xbox one, but couldn't see a way to download it.

Any help would be appreciated.

 

I wonder if this will work for the Mass Effect DLC. Hmm worth a shot.

 

Hexic had me so addicted when I first tried it, very simple fun game.

 

Good game but have not played since I completed it.

 

You completed it!? I always came so close but never quite got there! I'm so envious...

 

I have been literally one move away from winning the last achievement "Grand Pearl Pooh-Bah" twice, only to have a bomb that I couldn't defuse go off.

 

Trust me I practiced a lot and there are some videos on youtube that helped with the strategy. Just search master grid hexic. I have ADD so if I can somehow concentrate enough to do it anyone without ADD should be able to do it.
