Heving problem with xbox live

Hey guys,

A friend of mine sent me a friend request (first time i get one), and when i came to approve the request, it told me that "your parent must approve your friend" and stuff, and that in order to add my friend, i need to put a password for the email [Mod
Removed], which i dont know, never saw this address before.

I am 22 years old, and never touch the family settings on my Xbox..

any help? thanks

I have only had a problem with xbox live once, and that was with the titanfall launch problems. Other then that live works perfect.

This window can only pop-up if your account is a "Child" account. To fix this you can do the following,

Go to your Account Settings and make your account a Adult Account. (Verification Required)

If you feel this is a error of some sort, contact Xbox Support via LAN Line or Cellular.

Don't panic over the problem, Some people jump right to the "hacker" topic too quickly. This may be a simple mistake. Contact Xbox Support if the E-Mail shown is not yours as it may have replaced your old E-Mail.

So today I called the support and it seems, they have a few problems in their system at the moment.

The support helped me and everything works now...

So if you heve problems - call the support-hotline.
