Help!

So I called Xbox support to help with this and the employee told me to ask this forum. Here's the problem: My brother, account Acclimatized, is unable to receive achievements on any game that he plays no matter what the game may be. We had a phone call with
support over this for about 10 minutes and they couldn't resolve it and told us to go here. Another thing that could possibly be related to this: his account is considered silver for games with gold and this forum for whatever reason, but anywhere else he
is considered gold. His settings even say so. We honestly have no clue what is going on, but I guess that's what you guys are for, right?

I am sorry that your brother is experiencing this issue. However, to verify visit
account.microsoft.com/services and make sure that you have an active Xbox Live subscription, your brother might have redeemed an Xbox Live Gold code, as these are only temporary then you might
not get all of the benefits of gold (if he activated it for a certain game).

Note You must be connected to Xbox Live to unlock an achievement and boost your gamerscore. If you complete the requirements for an achievement while you're offline, it will unlock as soon as you connect.

Ok, we checked the site and it said he has a 12 month subscription that renews every year, so no problems there. I also checked the thread you linked and followed the steps there as well. It just led to the survey and a statement that no individual investigation
will be held. Anything else we can do?

 

I am not sure if this is still a thing, however account's were able to be suspended from earning achievements. You can see if your brother was suspended by going to:

enforcement.xbox.com/.../ShowEnforcements

have you attempted to remove the profile from the console, restart the console (Settings - Restart console) and redownload the profile again? (You will need the email address, password and connection to Xbox Live to do this)
