    Hello,

    My son is trying to play a game he just got but it wont work. It gives a code x5829.0 and b1884.0 . This is a xbox game and he is trying to play it on a xbox360. Could you tell us why it wont install. Thanks for your time .

    Sorry to hear it. What is the title of the game? There are 2 possible reasons that it may not work on your 360.

    1. The game is not backwards compatible with the console

    2. You do not have an official Xbox 360 hard drive installed (backwards compatible games require an official hard drive - 3rd party drives will not work)

    yeah i have and it works for about 30 seconds then it comes up with disc unreadable, it also still skips from 80% to 100%

    you can try to recover your gamertag. if you have a possibility try to download the game into a different storage drive (usb disc for example).
