HELP

I just received my xbox for Christmas....I played it for an hour...turned it off and last night I went to play a dvd....as soon as I turned it on it sounded like the fan kicked on...I put the DVD in and the light turned red on the on button...SO I turned
it off..and turned it back on (after checking 2 more DVD's thinking it was scratched) I never would come back on!!! when I touch the on button it beeps but thats it....It never comes on and the screen stays blank on the tv.

It's a WD My Book 4 TB USB 3.0 Hard Drive with Backup. Yes a have a media player app installed on my Xbox. No i have not formatted to my computer.

Try unplugging the console for 30seconds unplug everything from the console the USB and Power cords then after 30seconds plug everything thing back in and if it does the same thing you might have to send the console for repair or if who ever bought it for
you bought the warranty with it you could exchange it for a new one I hope my suggestion helps you I wish you best of luck I hope your console starts to work normal again you can also message the Xbox live ambassadors

 

I've the same problem. No matter how many cables i unplug, change or leave to 'cool down' i still get nothing just a beep quick flash o green light then a constant red light and no signal going to the TV. Xbox Support just said send t to them for repair
(cheaper to buy a pre-owned console)
