    My headset was working for both game sound and party chat now not working for game sound and only shows settings for party chat

    It would be better if you could provide more information about what is happening. For instance, what happens when you try to load the game? Are you getting any type of error code?

    Have you tried deleting then reinstalling the game?

    I've actually deleted and reinstalled it three times if not four and it still freezes when entering the home screen of the game forcing me to turn it off, but I've tried my other games and NFS carbon is the only game my 360 refuses to let me play. Before
    that happened it was working just fine (about two hours before) then suddenly it just happened out of nowhere. What does that mean?

    yeah i have and it works for about 30 seconds then it comes up with disc unreadable, it also still skips from 80% to 100%

    you can try to recover your gamertag. if you have a possibility try to download the game into a different storage drive (usb disc for example).
