    Help! Xbox stuck in 640x480


    So i've been having this problem for a while now and it all started when i got a nintendo switch. I had a switcher box for my hdmi port so i could switch between my xbox and my nintendo switch. However after a while doing this, it suddenly said no signal
    when i was on my xbox. I had to boot it up in low resolution so i could see my screen but i couldn't turn it back to 720/1080p. Since then i have had to be in low resolution mode and with tweaks to my tvs settings i've made it bareable. I've tried new hdmi
    cables, switching ports, turning it off and unplugging the power etc but nothing has worked. I tried it on a different tv and it worked so it could be my tv. If anyone has any tv or xbox knowledge and knows how to fix this please help! Any help is much appreciated,

    go to setting, display, and see if you can get it back. if not you might have to factory reset the console.

    go ask support.

    There are a few others I tried from non-microsoft forums but they just repeat the same troubleshooting suggestions from above.

    I have the same problem. Following the steps mentioned in help section didnt change anything. Mine is a brand new xbox one S. After a couple of days its just stuck at 640x480.
