HELP. Xbox One Draw Distance and Pop In Graphics

I am experiencing terrible draw distance problems and pop in graphics/textures on every game on my Xbox One.

All games were installed on External 1 TB Toshiba hard drive, everything has always been running smoothly and I've never seen these problems before. One day recently I took out the hard drive out and plugged into my laptop which had viruses on it at the
time. I put it into the laptop then took it out without putting any files or anything on it. I don't know if this links it but ever since I put the hard drive back into my Xbox every game is having these massive problems. I put the games on another hard drive
and re installed them but these problems are still occuring. It never use to happen. I want to be able to enjoy playing games again but can't because I'm constantly seeing the graphics pop in in the distance. Can anyone help? Should I clear my Xbox completely
, if so how do I do that? Cheers

I just did a few I was just curious. I did a weapons mod...immersive weapons I think they were pretty neat. I also did a sea monster mod but it was very buggy. There was a cool mod to summon a fire horse. Overlord mod for some really cool looking armor.
Ofcourse had to try the exploding chickens mod lol. Was fun kinda wish we could do them on xbox.

If your question is if the draw distance will be better than current generation consoles, then the answer is unequivocally YES, it will be better. I imagine the difference between draw distance & rendering time will be negligible on the 2 next generation
consoles, at least to the naked eye. The only difference will probably be in how it's generated over time, for example, the Xbox One will likely use the "infinite power of the cloud" in some way.

Try resetting your Xbox hold in the power button on front of the Xbox until it turns off then unplug it for 5-10 mins

sound like an hdd cache issue, in worst case delete all partitions then reformat reinstall games will fix issue.

I can understand your position GG, but for me some of the mods you find for FPS games on PC are great fun to mess about with amongst your mates. You don't necessarily put them in the wider population if you will, but leave them for private games. That way
you aren't causing randoms any issues. I'm not sure whether this generation will usher in mods for consoles. My gut instincts say not, but hey, we can dream can't we?

I know this goes way back but I used to play tribes 2 multiplayer on the computer and it had a ninja mod(nothing with ninjas that was who made it I think lol) that was amazing....It just imporoved on sniping and other aspects that made the multiplayer so
fun! I would love to see mods come to xbox there are a lot of mods for games that make the games even more fun like you said about UT3.

I think the mod scene is the best thing about PC gaming if I'm honest. Some really clever things and fun things come out of mods. Like you I think it'd be cool to see some mods find there way over to consoles, I know that Unreal Tournament 3 on the PS3 (and
possibly Xbox 360, I'm not sure) actually allowed you to download specific mods for that game. Sadly nobody really followed it up and I don't think any other games offered it. There were some pretty cool mods to fiddle with on UT3 that made the multiplayer
games loads of fun.
