    Hi guys,

    Over the past month or so, I've been having some problems with certain games and my Xbox in general.

    Generally, Xbox problems have been relatively light, with the odd issue here and now, but has been getting worse over time. For example, whenever I invite my friend to a party, I could spam the invite to party button for days and it has no impact on anything.
    I then try to get him to invite me, but when I hold down the home button to join, it doesn't show me joining, nor can I hear my friend.

    On the other hand, about a month back, the Rockstar servers went down for GTA 5, leaving me unable to get onto GTA Online. Before the 'down time', I was able to get onto GTA Online with no hassle, but since then, the situation has degraded and has become
    worse. Every time I load into a session, if I ever do, it'll constantly freeze, so I have to either wait 20-30 seconds or if it takes longer, go back to the home screen and restart my game. Furthermore, over the past few days, I haven't been able to get onto
    GTA Online at all, with the message 'Timed out locating session' popping up on my screen when I attempt to load into GTA Online. Other problems in GTA Online persist of slowness and failure to load in-game assets, for example, terrain or buildings. As a result,
    I talked to Rockstar Support. They said for me to restart my console, so I did numerous times, clear my cache, remove and re-add my account, so I did. I've also checked on multiple accounts, put the problems still persist. I've even gone to the lengths of
    uninstalling and reinstalling my GTA game, but that had no impact.

    Here are some clips that evidently shows the problems I am having on GTA if you're able to view them.





    I've also tried forwarding my ports but had no luck with that. GTA has been the worst of my 2 games to experience recent problems.

    As well, I've been struggling to get onto Rainbow Six Siege. Every time I load it up, it says that the servers can't be reached. Eventually, if I'm lucky, I'll try that 5 or so times and get onto a game of Rainbow 6 Siege, which normally ends in the game
    crashing.

    I've checked all of the server statuses but the GTA and Rainbow Six Siege servers seem to be working fine.

    I've also tried changing my IPV from IPv4 to IPv6, but Plusnet, my internet provider doesn't support it.

    On a positive note though, after lots of thinking it over and sleep, I'm willing to try any resolution that you deem worthwhile now. If you are unable to help me, I shall be confronting my internet provider for any problems with my internet to rule that
    out, put all my games onto a hard drive and hard reset my Xbox.

    Sorry to hear about issues, however this sounds network related. Let's check a few things to narrow this down. Does the issue persist when using both wired or wireless network connections on the console?



    Run a Detailed Network Statistics test on the Xbox One console and please provide the following information.

    • Download Speed
    • Upload Speed
    • Latency
    • Packet Loss %
    • Wireless Strength (if applicable)
    • Modem Manufacturer
    • Router Manufacturer (if being used) as well as the model number
    • NAT Type

    Let's then have you try to do a Network power cycle, to see if it helps.

    • Start by powering off and unplugging your Modem, Router (if applicable) and Xbox One console.
    • After 60 seconds of the devices being powered off, turn on the power to your Modem and then the Router (if applicable).
    • Wait another 60 seconds for the network equipment to turn on and gain the proper signals from your ISP. Then turn on your Xbox One console.

    That information will help us determine the next best steps. Thanks!

    Seems to load fine for me. There has been times where it'd freeze up and go super slow, but it's not that often.

    hello, my xbox one has been slowing down and constantly freezing in game and out of game. recently it started telling me something went wrong when i try to sign in to my account as well as trying to purchase things from the marketplace. I have done complete
    shutdowns and that works sometimes and did a factory reset a while ago. As of last night my xbox turns on and comes to the green start up screen that says xbox and just sits there acting like its loading in (the dots are scrolling as if its going to load)
    but doesn't load in. I've unplugged it shut it down but it still hasn't changed. its been trying to load in for 2 hours now. I am just out of warranty as of 2016 so am i just at a complete loss?
