HELP - Wrong Warranty Date

I just registered my new xbox one s - bought today (4/3/18) from GAME - but the warranty online states it stops 31/12/18... this is not correct! how do i have this fixed????

Hey RandAda,

I split your thread from the older one that you posted on so that we can assist you on your own separate thread.

For warranty details or discrepancies you would need to
contact support again but skip the virtual agent so that you can request a callback and speak to a phone representative. It should have an option that says "No thanks" when it presents you the Virtual Agent and then you follow the steps on the portal and
eventually you can request a callback and provide your callback number and region.

Best way to get support for this is from the official customer support team as they will have all of the proper tools to assist you.

I hope you can get connected to an agent and get this issue resolved!

Hi,

I have the same issue. I purchased my Xbox One S new in November 2017. I just registered my device yesterday because it was failing to read game disks (it's working again at the moment). Under my account it states that my XBox is out of warranty, but that
shouldn't be the case. I tried using the virtual agent to contact someone, but I just end up going around in circles. Can't I just send an email about this to someone in Microsoft Support (and maybe include a photo of my purchase receipt)?

The optical drive failed (known, common issue) in my previous generation XBox One outside the warranty period, and that's why I bought the S. If this one fails outside the warranty period, I'm not going to be too happy.

You'll need a copy of your receipt and then you'll need to contact Xbox Support about this

Did you purchase an extended warranty for the console from the retailer? It may be showing the standard warranty for that particular device when you register it.

If you would like to look into that further be sure to reach out to the

I appreciate you trying to help, but with all due respect I've researched all of those links before posting. When I click start order it won't let me because they have the wrong warranty date. You cannot process a warranty claim if it thinks you're outside of warranty.

Which, is why I'm trying to figure out how to submit my receipt showing that their date is wrong and I am still within my warranty period.
