Help with Xbox One Elite Controller right thumb stick drifting upward during game play.

The right analog stick drifts upward during game play. I tried re-synchronizing it and changing batteries, none of these have worked. Is there any other way to fix it?

The Xbox One controller needs to be fixed for some of us.

The right stick is drifting upward and somewhat to the right sometimes and yet
it is completely taut and almost new. My controller is not a day one controller.

I have two controllers BOTH with drift issues. The one left thumb-stick drifts upwards and the other one has a right thumb-stick drift issue that drifts upward.

Like what the heck am I suppose to do. #SMH

 

Okay, I chatted with support over the computer about my warranty, it expired and now my LB button broke off as well. So I have a few questions.

Where can I send my elite xbox one wireless controller to if I'm willing to pay for repairs?

Why does microsoft not provide a option to buy an extended warranty for accessories or provide longer warranties for items over $100 dollars such as my controller which was $149.99?

Why paint plastic parts metallic if the parts are going to break so easily? It seems to me if it's called Elite, it should be more durable.

 

I'm wondering the same thing. THE LB button on mine hasn't completely broken off, but something feels loose and it doesn't have the same click response the RB button has. Also, the P2 button on the bottom lost its clickiness, and barely responds anymore.

I've chatted with someone from Xbox support who told me that this kind of thing is handled through the Microsoft Store. I've chatted with a rep from the store, and they told me I had to go through Xbox support. So that was useless.

After I figured out how to navigate their service and repair site, I find out that the only service my elite is "eligible" for is a replacement order of the sticks and paddles. There isn't even a text box or any kind of option asking me to explain what the
problem is.

I know my controller is out of warranty. I don't mind paying a fee to get it fixed as long as it is reasonably less than retail. What I don't want to do is buy a whole new $150 elite with all the extra bells and whistles I don't need. I just need my controller
fixed.

 

They should offer a repair option for remotes, I"m willing to pay for my controller to be fixed.

Figures no rep from microsoft has responded to my post.

 

Just got done chatting to another rep. Unfortunately, he made it very clear that unless it's still in warranty, the service options for the Elite controller are virtually nil. Since I got mine through Amazon, I'm also pretty much at a dead end since it's
way past the return/replace time frame.
