Help with xbox live gold!! Stuck!!

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. Benny, we understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with being able to use your Xbox subscription benefits.

I would first verify the status of your subscription by visiting the
Services and subscription page on your account.

Once you verify that your subscription is properly being recognized by the system, I recommend that you

remove your account from your console.

This can be done by following these simple steps:

1. Go to Settings and select
   System.
2. Select Storage.
   Note If you don’t connect any external storage devices to your console, select
   Hard Drive. If you do use external storage, select All Devices.
   
3. Select Profiles.
4. Select the Xbox profile that you want to delete.
5. Select Delete.
6. Select Delete Profile Only.

Remember, you must know the email and password of you account in order to add your account once more.

So is the issue that it is stuck in a loop? You should be able to do system updates without Xbox Live Gold as long as you have an internet connection.

Hello, If you have previously connected to a trial version of xbox live gold with your account it will not let you do so again. Make sure you are in fact able to get your trial version of xbox live gold to work, you should see it redeemed under your subscriptions
in your my games and apps page of your xbox one. Logging off of your account and logging back in also sometimes helps when my account gets stuck and is unable to read that I am connected to Xbox live.

Thanks for your post. Sometimes deal ads can become stuck on the dashboard even after the deal period is over. To correct this try a hard reset with the steps below.

1. Hold the power button down on the console for 10 seconds(while on)
2. After 10 seconds release the power button (console should be off)
3. Power on the console as normal

This should refresh the dashboard, to view the current information on pricing for Xbox Live Gold view the Microsoft Store. Here is a link:
