Help with Xbox Gold account

i have xbox gold on my xbox one for some reason cannot get the free games and discounts they offer.. can anyone help?? i can play online no issues there

How can you tell if an account is the primary account? I know these are total noob questions I've only had my xbone for like 2 months.Click to expand... No problem. Using your account, you have to set the xbox as your home console. The first account you registered to the system the xbox will be attached to it as the home console.

Thanks I appreciate the help. I just rememebered the password for my old account from 360, but I wasn't paying another $50 for 2 gold accounts.

Credentials error

Hey guys.

I don't know if am allowed to post help threads as I see no specific sections but I thought I needed to get help from somewhere.

I'm getting an error when trying to download my old account. It still has xbox gold ( and gold pp901m on mw3 and i guesss ) and i need to get the account back so i can play on it again.

This is what the error says . ( for some reason you can't dl profiles offline but you used to be able to )

ERROR: Sorry, there's a problem with the credentials that you are using to sign in.

Visit https:// account.live .com to fix the problem.

I have gone to account.live and tried to sign in with my old account. but it says password is wrong ( even though the DL profiles says it's correct ) I have also gone to Can't access your account but that is no help niether is Google or Youtube.

Please help me. Thanks.

Unfortunately you appear as not having a gold subscription here. You may please go to
http://account.live.com and check if your subscription is displayed correctly there. If it is, please phone the support team to check your problem. You will find the proper phone number at
support.xbox.com/contact-us

If it is not displayed there you may have accidentally subscribed with a wrong live ID or the subscription process was not completed.

You can share the gold by making the console your Gold Accounts home xbox or by being logged on with the Gold account on the same console. If you actually want a Gold membership on both accounts then you will to purchase two Gold memberships.

whoever is joining without a gold membership could be able to have gold if there is an account on the console that has gold. to allow a non-gold account to use gold. the account with gold on the console has to make that console their home console. https://support.xbox.com/help/subsc...bscriptions/share-xbox-live-gold-subscription

If the person with the active Xbox gold account sets the Xbox one as their home Xbox everyone that uses the console will share the Gold subscription.
