Help with Xbox Family Console sharing

My place has 3 xbox ones (mine in the living room , my son's in his room, and my daughter's in hers).

*****hopefully this isn't too confusing

* We all have Xbox live accounts and I CURRENTLY have the Family Sharing (or whatever it is called) set up as SON'S Xbox is my HOME XBOX , so Games that I purchase on MY Xbox in the living room on my GT get shared on HIS ( "home" Xbox) and we can play together
online. (I don't know if my daughter can get in on sharing my games but we havent yet) and my son also has an Xbox at his mom's place.

Now, what I WANT TO DO (I dont know if it will work..... This gets a little trickier )

* Make the LIVING ROOM Xbox (mine) my son's GT's HOME Xbox. And from now on buy games that we both play (call of duty etc) on HIS XBOX (bedroom) & GT , so it will share to ME in the living room on MY XBOX so I can play with him (just reversing the HOME
Xbox from what it is currently ) ...BUT.....this SHOULD also enable him to play on HIS GT at his mom's house, correct???? So, by him purchasing CoD WWII on his bedroom xbox under his GT....I can play with him on my Xbox whether he is with ME (on his bedroom
Xbox) or at his mom's??

(Also, is there anyway to incorporate my daughter into any of this ?)

Family sharing was a joke. What good is it if you can't play the game at the same time. Family sharing = 1 console playing at a time. Not buy 1 game and have all 4 consoles in you house playing together. Are you going to wait 2 weeks for cousin Jim to beat
Halo5 so he can share it with you? Not me I want to play it ONLINE on the day of LAUNCH with my FAMILY. Not possible w/ family sharing. People are so uneducated.

 

As long as he is signed into Live, he can access anything he has purchased on his account from any console. He would need gold on his account if he wants to play online from another account and doesn't have it already.

You can only have one console set as your Home console at a time, so you can only share games/gold on that one console. In order to share on a third console, you would need at least 1 more gold subscription and another copy of the games.

 

Okay. Thank you, it sounds like it will work then (as far as him sharing with ME, and him being able to play via his GT on his console at my place AND his mom's.
