    Help with Xbox black screen, any help would be appreciated


    I turned on my xbox one today and have had nothing but a black screen. I’ve restarted it and have gotten the xbox loading screen followed by nothing and if I hold the controller down I have the option to turn off or reset the console but nothing else. Nothing has worked, hoping someone can help with this

    My xbox one only displays black after the most recent update

    This is happening to me too. My Xbox just constantly shows a black screen and I’ve tried doing everything you’ve mentioned. I’ve actually got a spare Xbox one from my family and I plugged that in, it asked for an update and once it had updated it was nothing but black screen!

    Any further help on this issue would be appreciated.

    but mine works on a pc monitor???

    Black screen on tv, can still hear the sound

    The serial number can be tracked, especially if they try to sell or pawn the Xbox. All legitimate shops check databases of stolen item descriptions and serial numbers. Make sure you have it handy.

    If you go to the support section on xbox.com then you may find your console under registered products

    You need to tell the authorities that microsoft can help them possibly locate the console. However MS would only give the information to the police
