Help with XBO DVR

ive recently recorded a few clips with my in built dvr but theres no sound on them??? any reason why?

Whoa, I never thought about this; what exactly where you able to view in the xbo-tv with your pc hooked up?

I don't have cable so have been waiting for some usage of the tv/dvr, feel like it is a waste.

it posted late last night around 11ish on march6.. haven't had the chance to use it in the new format/update.

 

Happens every now and then. Try a hard reset on your console. hold power sensor down for 8 seconds (on console) till it turns off.. unplug for 30 seconds.. plug back in and restart.. Should take care of it... BTW that hard restart will take care of 90%
of any issues with the X1

 

Also rebooting your router helps with some issues as well

I've done the restart and it's still the same? Is it something I need to talk to somebody in store? Because I use it quite abit and it's really frustrating that it doesn't work!

 

are you wired or wireless? try deleting the wireless info and re-establishing it. I had this same problem and it turned out my router needed a reboot. I unplugged EVERYTHING and plugged them back in and was good to go.

Curious though how does the router effect sound recording?

 

well when you record that.. it not saved locally.. it goes to your cloud storage and is all uploaded there...Feels like it reestablishes a stronger connection...I am not too technical knowing but all I know is it helped with mine...

This was a known issue in one of the updates but has since been fixed.. that was like back in April or something
