    In need of additional storage

    When purchasing an external drive, avoid Seagate. I'd strongly recommend going with a Western Digital 2 TB external.

    External USB Drive - Always Is Default Drive For Download Games

    If either of you know, with this Western Digital 4 TB drive totally empty, after formatted in the Xbox One, I had 3.6 TB free. Is this what you guys experienced with the maximum available space starting from an empty drive?

    If you were getting it for the Xbox One then yes, but the Xbox 360 will only support up to 2 TB

    External HDD compatibility w/ new 2TB update

    Western Digital drives will last you a long time. Expensive, sure, but you get what you pay for! I have an old Western Digital Passport Drive and that drive has done me well in the years I've owned it. I don't recommend getting anything over 2 TB, because
    you need to partition and format it yourself...because for some reason they couldn't be bothered to implement that on the dashboard.
