    So i was in new york recently and was playing alot of xbox games and wanted to finish them when i came back to california so i put all my data on a usb to do so when i bought an xbox, the xbox came in the other day and i tried getting all my data back on
    the xbox but when i plugged in the usb it didnt show any data on it at all?? when i plug it into my computer it says theres 7.62MB free of 1.80GB but of course i cant see the files. can anyone help please...

    Need help with USB downloadingHELP WITH USB :)

    You can't download Minecraft maps from the P.C. to use on the xbox.If he says he's done it before it's possible that he's been banned for using mods to do this.

    Can he sign into live with his account?

    Sorry to hear it. What brand of USB stick was it? Some USB sticks do not play well with Xbox consoles. Most notably the PNY and Seagate brands.

    Did you format the USB stick on a PC before configuring it for the console?

    I also wanted to mention that if you flew or drove home that it is possible that an xray from the airport or heat from the car may have damaged the stick.

    With some of my USB sticks, I've had issues when upgrading from the old 16 GB Max format, to the new Terabyte format that they use for the externals. These new formats aren't compatible with each other, so new 360s will need to format the old sticks for
    them to be of any use, and the old dash 360s won't be able to make use of the new format.

    Try formatting it again, in the future buy only licensed items or atleast make sure they are comparible. Check the info on back of package.

    Hey guys you can definitely re-format a USB flash drive to whatever format you want. Just keep in mind that the USB flash drive must be formatted in Fat32 to work with your Xbox and it will only support a maximum of 32Gb.
