Help with understanding games I can use

Hello,

Forgive me but I'm not much of a gamer so this could be a pretty stupid question, but I've searched for an answer and I get squat. Very simple question. I've got an Xbox 360, I'm a big fan of the Assassins Creed series. The newest appears to have come
out in Xbox One, but not 360. Can I use an Xbox One game in a 360 console?

Told you it was a simple question. Hopefully there will be an easy answer.

Need help with understanding how to use XBOX one with minecraft

Just purchased XBOX one for my daughters to play mine craft with their friends online. have a few questons.

1. Should I purchase the Mine craft game at a local store or would it be easier to buy from the XBOX online store and just download?

2. Is XBOX live subscription required in order for my daughters to play online with their friends who also have an XBOX?

Do I need to do anything else? Am I missing anything?

Please help. Thanks.

1: That is entirely down to your preference. Either one is as efficient as the other though I personally prefer digital download.

2: Yes, in order to play online you would need to purchase a Gold Membership.

That is all you need and you should be set. There are plenty of extra Minecraft goodies you can get for a very reasonable price via the marketplace such as extra skins and texture packs too.

I also wanted to add that if you are thinking of getting an Xbox One they will be bringing backwards compatibility to 360 games later this month. I can't say when or if the Assassin's Creed games will be listed but there's a possibility.

There is no gift system in place yet. If you let your friend borrow a game, the game has to be installed on his hard drive, and he will have to purchase the full game in order to play. Unless you are there to sign in on your account. Every game has a mandatory
install, and Microsoft will not allow you to have the game while your friends play for free, or vise versa. This is why the mandatory Online Check is necessary. With your friend having your game on his registered Xbox One, Microsoft sends a ping to your console
at home to wipe the game off your hard drive.

It's a crappy system, and Microsoft knows this. It's why they are scrambling to figure out what to do after the crap hit the fan.

They said they are leaving it up to the Publishers to decide. It's not 100% like Microsoft's system
