Help with unauthorized charges

I'm really hoping someone can help me. One of my foster kids charged $400 in (unauthorized) online xbox purchases to my credit card. I contacted xbox and they reversed the charges. At this time, because I know nothing about xbox, accounts, gaming, etc.
I asked that they sever all connection between my credit card and the xbox. I even suggested they could delete the account. I was told they had deleted the card and there was no way for any further charges/purchases to be made. I was told there was nothing
I needed to do at my end.

Within 15 days there were another 37 charges totalling $1,150 charged by the boy. I didn't know what else to do, so literally took away the cord from the xbox and cancelled my credit card, however I am stuck with this second round of charges. I cannot believe
they permitted $1150 to be charged to an account that was supposed to be flagged.

I have called xbox repeatedly to explain the extenuating circumstances around these charges but they will not listen. I have also called my credit card company repeatedly with no success.

Any suggestions?

Unauthorized Charges

Call Xbox Customer Support IMMEDIATELY, tell them you have had Unauthorized access on your account. they will know what to do. Do it now! 18004MYXBOX

that would be pending charges

There is nothing they can do until they go thru

You havd to contact your bank about it

All you can do is contact billing depart as it is their power

For future reference goto commerce.microsoft.com and sign in with the said account

That will show pending charges and current payments methods

Hello Kirk,

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you have a question on unauthorized charges. The card is not blocked. The only thing they would do is offer to remove the cards. If these were not removed then more charges could happen. Here is a

guide to prevent unauthorized charges.

Sorry to hear that you've been having billing issues. However, this is a very old thread. If you can create a brand new one detailing your issue that would be appreciated.

However, if your problem does have to do with billing there is nothing that anyone here will be able to do to help you as only phone support can deal with billing issues.

Got through the chat by turning off my network ad blocker and sorted it out with Microsoft.

Not sure if it was a glitch or what but they were still charging me for a subscription I cancelled last month even though it clearly said I cancelled it.

At least its back in order now but still very disappointed that a company as big as Microsoft can make cancelling a trial so difficult.

Nope, if the charge doesn’t appear this means it wasn’t made on your account
So I don’t see that as a possibility
