Help with subscription limitation

Got this error trying to play this morning too. Also, can't seem to figure out what the issue is. I renewed by gold membership in February.

Depending on your country, Xbox subscriptions can be extended a maximum of 13 to 36 months at a time. Your existing subscription end dates can be confirmed by signing in to your Microsoft account’s Services & subscriptions page. Xbox subscription terms for your country can be reviewed at the link below, including maximum extension limits per product. If the code you're trying to redeem will extend a subscription beyond the limit, you'll need to wait until the limit will not be exceeded.

The family settings are there to help parents monitor things their kids are doing, place restrictions, set time limits, etc. They don't have any affect on subscriptions.
