Help with streaming please

My husband takes his Windows notebook with him to work at night and streams to his Xbox One so he can play. It has been working fine, but then tonight it will not work. It cannot find his Xbox. I turned it on for him, but it still does not show up. I have
his Xbox on and mine is on, but the notebook is not detecting either one of them. They both show as not on. We have not changed any of our setting or anything between last night and tonight.

streaming help please

I am trying to set up PC to xbox one streaming but everything I can find on it says I need to download the xbox video app on my xbox one, and there is no such app anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

yea i am kinda confused how i connect my xbox360 to my windows xp computer to play movies from my pc thru my xbox to the tv and will it play all formats?

To help resolve any game streaming issues in the Xbox app on Windows 10, click this

link. Look for My Xbox One isn't visible in the Xbox app on Windows 10 and I can't connect to my Xbox One from my Xbox app on Windows 10, and perform the solutions provided.

Make sure that your Windows 10 device and the Xbox One are connected to the same network and logged in using the same Microsoft account.
