    Help with Skyrim Save Problem


    I bought the "Skyrim Remastered" game for XBOX 1 a few weeks ago and have been playing it a lot. I have encountered some freezing and stuff but nothing to bad to what I can't handle. I played the game for about 2 hours today and noticed that it did not save
    anything that happened in those 2 hours. I ended up trying to save the game again but no matter what I do the game will not save a new save. I have 40% storage still on my Xbox and I deleted some saves off of the actual game and it still won't save. I have
    about 102 saved games on character right now. I created a new account with a new character and the xbox DOES work and saves on that account, but my level 37 main account still wont allow a new save. I contacted Xbox support and told them everything that happened
    and they put me threw a few things to try and figure it out including some things that have to do with storage and even uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but nothing will work. They ended up telling me to contact Bethesda about the issue because they
    can not do anything else. After being in contact with Bethesda, they could not figure it out either. I do not know what to do because I really do not want to lose this account. Any suggestions?

    I am level 37 right now

    I would love some help with this issue.

    That's not cheating at all...? I've bought the game twice already so I don't see the problem here...

    Help with Skyrim save

    When I switched over to PC, I sold my Xbox copy of Skyrim. Now I'm trying to move the 155hr save to my PC, not for modding, just to play and use the new DLC.

    After some conversion with Horizon software, Skyrim reads the save no problem, even if the name is a little funky. Sadly, its not the right version (version 0, this is version 9). Would anyone be so kind as to take my save and load it up on their Xbox,
    save again, and get it back to me?

    All folders are in read-only mode

    I needed it for some games like Skyrim and grim dawn. In these games, unfortunately, the settings are not saved if the documents folder is read-only. Unfortunately, this method did not help me solve the problem.

    I went into the Xbox storage and deleted my last save file for Skyrim and loaded the last auto-save and it has solved the problem for now.

    Hi Tensuperset,

    Your best option is to Contact Lexar to see if they can help recover the files . As it is a 3rd party USB stick we would not really have many troubleshooting idea's to offer. In future it may be a good to save all your brothers game save progression on
    the cloud.

    The USB stick on a PC always show up a full even if they are not because when they are put into an Xbox for the first time they are reformatted to an Xbox Language. They appear full to stop you trying to download anything from a PC or even accessing the
    USB on your PC because if you try and use them on a PC then the computer will then try and reformat the USB to its language and then it will turn the files into something that the Xbox can not long read and it sounds like this is what has happened and Xbox
    has no way of recovering these files then.

    The game saves will be gone but if they was anything like DLC or games on the USB then they can be re-downloaded to a new storage device.
