Help with region

I previously lived in the Netherlands and bought an xbox 360 there. I then moved to Aruba with my xbox 360. I set both my account and xbox region to United States, but sometimes when I try to redeem free xbox gold content it gives me the error: "This game's
region does not match this console. It won't be downloaded, and you have not been charged."

Is there anyway to fix/get around this?

Cod games are available in the UK the problem is that you are physically not present in the UK. If you buy a game on disk, any additional codes that come with the disc, might not work if those aren't for the region on your account (Uk)

There I'd not much you can do about it, until Lithuania is supported as xbox live country

I know once you choose a country you can not switch country's. You would have to create another account. When it comes to the who CD and enter code I am not really sure what you mean but I do not know the answer to that one. My guess would be no, but that's
just a guess.

 

Some content is region locked. So in order to download the content, your account region has to match your physical location and you have to live in a region where the games are available. So since your account region and your physical location don't match,
and you live in a region where some of the games are not available, you will run into that issue. There is no way around region locking.
