Help with ratings and restrictions

MY Xbox 360 Won't even let download a teen rated game and my restrictions allow teen rated games HELP ME

To confirm, are you trying to download it from a Windows 10 or Windows 11 machine?

Let’s check if you’re using an adult account or a child account by checking your account privacy settings via https://account.xbox.com/Settings. If you could access your privacy settings, that would mean that you’re using an adult account. But if you were redirected to a different page, you’re using a child account where you need to be added to a family group because only an organizer or adult account can change a child’s privacy settings.

if your sons account is set up on family settings as a child account I believe restrictions will automatically be set to not allow them to play a game that is not for their age group. age ratings on games are there to keep children safe.

this is definitely the issue here, if the ESRB rating is rated anything but E for everyone it will automatically restrict the ability to play those games.

Maybe the account you are trying to play on is restricted under child settings restricting access to that specific game that may be rated to high.

Dead Rising is an M-rated game. CAPCOM, the publisher, restricts it to players 18 years of age or older, as per their agreement with the Entertainment Software Ratings Board. Even if there is parental consent, his account shows him to be <18 and therefore
