Help with password reset

I lost access to an Xbox account over a month ago. I still have access to the email associated with the account but I do not have the phone number because I have recently gotten a new phone. Microsoft refuses to let me reset the password via email, and
my only option at this point is the ACSR form which I have filled out every single day with every bit of information it asks for, and it still doesn't work. Some help would be greatly appreciated! Don't wanna lose my hundreds of dollars worth of games because
of this issue.

The only way to add an email or modify the security methods previously added in Microsoft account is by accessing to it.

Your friend can try the other methods listed in the thread I just recently shared.
It is important to clarify that the ones listed in the threads are the ones available when 2FA is enabled.

Yeah but he only used it for Xbox which he don't have anymore, haven't logged in past 3 years, bought new one and can't really do anything only phone was set as 2fa, is there anyway to add another one with help of email used for account creation?

Alright, to change your password all you need to do is login to the account that you want to change the password for. Then you can click "My Account" then "change password". You can also use this link when signed into the account.

or otherwise you need to contact Xbox Support (via phone) they might be able to help
