Help with New gamertag !!

I am assuming you are speaking about the game "Battlefield 3". This game requires an online pass to access the multiplayer portion of the game. If you bought the game new look for a code inside the box. If the game was purchased used you can purchase a code
from the marketplace. This online pass is tied to an account so only the accounts who have the online pass and the other accounts on the original console it was bought/redeemed can have access to the multiplayer.

Tonez sounds like it would be a good name it all depends on what you like though.

Spaces don't count when you're trying to change your gamertag to something, even though searching for gamertags doesn't ignore the spaces.

• Q IV is a current Xbox 360 gamertag
• B HI looks like an original Xbox gamertag; maybe it will get recycled some day
  
• ikr is a current Xbox 360 gamertag

You can't find out for sure whether a gamertag is in use except by trying to change your gamertag to it.

They started reseting original gamertags a few months ago. The only way you can find out if a gamertag is available is by trying to change it to one and see if it's available. There's no way to request that one get freed up.

With a name that has a reference to a well known modding site in it I can see why. Most likely they're in use on Zune or GFWL and hence you can't have them. It's only original xbox GTs that are being freed up right now and even then it's random as to what
ones are being freed up.
