Help with new console transfer of xbox live and profiles

We have just switched from one console (360) to a preowned xbox one. In Australia. The adult profile is available but the child one is not appearing, Also our Xbox gold membership was not working and we should have about 6 mth available. To complicate matters
my partner then decided to resign up with a 1 mth trial to xbox gold as our child was pusing him to be able to play.

How do we get our membership back on the new console and the child settings??

Transfer data question.

Hi, to transfer content licences associated with your console you must sign in to the console with the profile used to purchase the content. Once signed in go to Settings > account > billing options and select licence transfer following the on screen instructions to transfer the licences to the new console so other profiles can use the content. Content can not be transfered across profiles only across consoles - hope this helps

Im sorry to say its not possible to transfer content between two profiles. License transfers are only available for Consoles, like if you bought a new console and needed to transfer the consoles licenses to it so all profiles on that console can use the
content. the same does not apply to profiles unfortunately.

Licenses associated with the profiles have to stay with the profiles.

All I can suggest is when you are buy content for your child then purchase is on their account, that way they can access it on any console as long as they are conected to Xbox Live.

Everything you bought on the old console can be played freely by all profiles and on either console for the profile that purchased the content. So if you wanted to use the new console yourself and leave the old one for the kids, anyone could play Minecraft
(and other purchased content) on the old one and you could play Minecraft on the new one as long as you were signed in to LIVE. You can read more on this

The exception is if you transfer licenses. You can read more on license transferring

here. If you transferred licenses to the new console, anyone could play Minecraft on the new console but only your profile signed in to LIVE could play it on the old console.

To clarify further, the
Network Game Transfer would only transfer the games and apps from the old console to the new console; other data like profile data and save data is attached to an account's profile and backed up to Xbox Live. To redownload the save/profile data for an account
in a particular game, just launch that game from the console while the account is signed in and connected to Xbox Live

Yes the old HDD's are incompatible with the new models. If you can get a data transfer cable you can still transfer the information to your new console, or the other option would be to migrate your gamer profile to the new console, download your data from
live and then do a license transfer (all the info how do do this can be found on the xbox.com help pages)
