    Help With NAT-Type


    Hello!

    So I have been playing Rainbow Six Siege for a while, and finally my Friend got it too!

    But we have a problem,we wanted to play together but it doesn’t work?!

    We did a lot of researching and found out that my Friend has to change his NAT-Type To Open

    so we wanted to Ask how we can solve this problem!

    I would be very happy if you could answer my question!

    help with nat type

    can somebody help me with my nat type I own both xbox consoles and there both on strict I tested the multiplayer connection on both consoles and there still on strict.. I contacted xbox and they told me to contact Comcast and they don't know what the hell
    to do i went to port forward and I have no clue what to do..i have a xfinity modem with a built in router and its a Technicolor can any body help with matter..

    This site should give you step by step detailed instructions on how to port forward your consoles correctly.

    You can't use port forwarding or DMZ if you own more than one xbox. You need to use UPnP exclusively.

    Please list the make and model numbers of your modem and router.

    Someone with knowledge of them may be able to help you

    Normally your can see the service status of xbl there. At the moment there are some issues on xbl so it may be that the one is not able to read the status and display it right now.

    The status displayed there is the same you get more detailed at
    support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status
